Just noticed this morning. So small drop in the 3-month rate from 2.5% to 2.3%. Now the same as the TFSA account.

Other rates are the same, I believe:

3 Month 2.30%
6 Month 1.80%
9 Month 1.65%
1 Year 1.50%

They never said it was a promo rate, but, just like when EQ first opened, it really is.

The preferable way of doing business, in my opinion, is to state how long the offer is valid, right from the beginning. EQ doesn't do that.
