Can anyone log in today from a desktop? I can get in from an android and an iPad. I have been getting the difficulties page for about a week. Retried numerous times and still no luck.

No problems here on desktop. As a general practice nowadays, I always log in via an incognito or private window.

I logged into my EQ accounts earlier this AM (using my Desktop & Chrome),
with 'No Problemos'.
Actually ... I can't remember ever having a problem logging into my EQ accounts.

OK on Windows Desktop. OK on Android Tablet, eventually - very slow completing ...

I had a similar experience awhile back, couldn't log in on the desktop but could on mobile. Turns out my account was locked and it needed to be unlocked and reset. Yes, I told them what I just wrote as they were apologizing while unlocking my account.

The EQ Bank online banking site has challenges in telling the difference between a site outage and a locked out account.

No problem today. I successfully logged in, in the morning and a few minutes ago. Having said that, once in a while I do get the 'difficulties page'.

Thanks everyone …what a great group. I will give them a call. I signed up for a Meridian account and was unable to link EQ. That is likely why I am locked out on my desktop. Strange that I am not locked out on iPad or android. I have since successfully linked to EQ from Meridian using the secure message form instead of their third party auto connection method.

I called EQ and yes my desktop was locked out. Because I use the fingerprint method on iPad and android, I was still able to login on those devices.
The attempts to link through Meridian’s auto connect was the cause of me getting locked out.

I get the odd issue logging in with them the last few months, but it has been quite seldom.
The bigger issue I am having (the last few weeks especially) is it will log me out and show me the Stepped out? timeout page while I am actively making transactions (sometimes within 10 seconds of the last click) ... anyone else experiencing this?

It's perplexing that some people seem to have a myriad of problems @ EQ Bank, while others (like myself) have none.

I, for one, have been having non-stop login and transfer issues since I joined EQ in Nov 2024.
Never had issues with CIBC, Tangerine, RBC, TD, Wise etc previously.
From another forum, I see some EQ users saying, "No issues for me." and some saying, "Daily issues for me."

No issues for me but I only login 1-2 times per month.
Unless one has business accounts at EQ (if they have such a thing), why would one login daily (assuming 'daily issues' really means daily)?

I'm kinda in the Middle on that ⬆ subject, AltaRed . . .
As a practice, I usually log into all my accounts at least once a week ... if for no other reason, to keep an Eye-On-Things and make sure there's No Surprises.
When it comes to Moolah, ya just Can't be too careful ❗
