With the BoC rate increase, DUCA has just increased the rate on their highest interest savings account from 1.4% to 1.5%. Great news for me since I keep most of my money with them. Waiting to see if Meridian CU will follow since they usually match each other's savings account rates.

Their rates can be found here -> http://www.duca.com/rates/savings/

A rate of 1.5% would certainly not inspire me to put any of my money there. Much higher rates elsewhere.

Yeah it's certainly not the best rate but for me it's the best rate that keeps my banking simple. I like to keep most of my money at one financial institution as it makes transfers, service, etc. much easier. Plus DUCA is one of the few credit unions in Ontario that offers a high rate on their savings plus free bank accounts (which is nice since I sometimes need in branch service) and low interest mortgages. So overall they work for me and I'm happy to be with them.

Any reason why DUCA is not in the Comparison Chart ? ( https://www.highinterestsavings.ca/chart/ )

Maybe because they only allow residents of Ontario to be members or something like that. Regardless they're a very good company with such nice customer support in branch and on the phone who don't up sell you so I'd like to see them be added.
