I know of a few that have been Grandfathered. I was wondering if there are more:

- ECHO Mastercard 1.5% Cash Back - National Bank - Grandfathered. Old, no AF (annual fee). New applications, 30-dollar AF

-SimplyCashâ„¢ Preferred Card from American Express - Grandfathered. Old, 79 AF. New applications, 99-dollar AF

Capital One Aspire Cash World - Grandfathered. Old, 20-dollar AF or at one time no AF. New card called Aspire Travel World Elite MasterCard. New applications, 100 AF.

Dead Grandfathered Cards:

MBNA Rewards World Elite MC - Old, no AF. New and now old applicants, 120 AF. This recent change and those that are upset about this inspired this thread

Chase Cards - Marriott and Amazon Visa. For a time, one couldn't apply to these cards well the current card holders could still use them. They no longer exist for anyone.

Devalued but didn't grandfather:

Tangerine MC. increased Fx fee. Downgraded %. Increased Fees

MBNA Rewards World Elite MC - downgraded %

Rogers MC - No Fx fee to extra points for Fx purchases. Changed % back. Down graded Insurances. Downgraded on two separate occasions

Simply Cash - Removed car rental insurance

Amex SPG - Some consider this a downgrade. I know it changed a lot. I didn't look to hard into it

BMO World Elite Mastercard - Downgraded %

Scotiabank Scene Visa - Downgraded %.
