CIBC Dividend Card has a promotion. 0% balance transfer till May 2012 for cash advances taken out before January 2012. There is however a 1% handling fee so if you do take advantage of this, make sure you do not go over your limit when you withdraw (should include the 1% fee) and you pay the 1% fee the following month in full. Also set reminder to pay the full balance at the end of May 2012. If you have higher interest debt, this is a good way to help with paying it down if you stay disciplined to the pay down. If you don't have debt, this is a good opportunity to borrow at effectively 1% and invest the funds in higher interest rate investments. There are some non CDIC short term investments out there is you are willing to take on the risk with returns of upto 4%.
