Crappy tire is down to 1.2%. Their TFSA is still at 1.5%.

Good times for Canadian Tire lately, with the release of that commemorative coin 😉

How about Achieva Financial --- over 10 years as a virtual institution, with ALWAYS very competitive rates with a full principle guarantee and $1 month given back for taking online statements.

So I'm over at the Canadian Tire site looking for info on transferring my TFSA from BMO, due to CTFS recent rate increase to 2%, and they are now listing a rate of 3.15%

Is this an end of year bait'n'switch, or setting the pace for next years rates??

Also, anyone know if there are any fees involved to transfer a TFSA from bmo and ctfs???

never mind, the 3.15% is actually for a tax free GIC

Yeah, that's a pretty bad error on their part, to show the 5-year GIC rate as if it were the normal TFSA rate.
