Lack of response from Alterna Bank

Are you experiencing a similar lack of response from Alterna? I sent a mailed request to requesting a linkage to my Simplii bank account on February 20, 2024. As no response was received, a follow-up email on March 1, 2024. An automated response informed me that a reply would be sent within two days. It is now March 5, 2024 and nothing has been received.

I was thinking of closing this account and this experience is about to make the decision a lot easier.

I've been having Similar email experiences at Hubert/Access as well. It seems they can't be bothered to reply either. But for them, that's just Tip-Of-The-Iceberg of problems there.

For me, the die is cast ... they're going to get 'The Boot' ❗

There's just so many Much Better choices out there.

I had the same horrible experience with Alterna Bank. They don't even reply to their escalation process, which is truly embarrassing. I suggest you leave them and tell everyone you know that they give zero F's about their customers, which will make them lose more money.
