Accelerate Financial sent a nice pamphlet outlining their upgrade to begin on July 19, 2019.The biggest change is there are moving to a person centric member model that will provide each member with one unique member number. Currently, we have a joint account and when we sign in, all our accounts can be viewed. This change may be a game changer for us.

Why a game changer?

Accelerate is the only FI that does things like they do for viewing an account. I believe what they currently do contravenes privacy protocol.

Any other FI each spouse has at ATM card or some other unique sign on to view only their investments along with joint investments.

If only one person in the household does the banking it is a PITA to reconcile from both logins from one FI. And as the current set up at Accelerate is handy......it eventually had to change.

From what I can see their cheque’s don't follow proper format either as envelope-less BMO ATMs reject them.

Yesterday I received a letter with a new login code as their records show I don’t have an ATM card. But I do! And have recently used it! What a PITA....now another number to have to track!
