Hopefully they quit changing the rules for what characters and numbers can be in a password. They actually allowed special characters....I tested it.....then a week or so later I could not login only to find out on my own that special characters are not longer allowed. Great job Accelerate.

I don't have a good feeling the way Accelerate is going.

They don't have push/pull.

You can no longer verify online if your GIC will renew or will be collapsed to your savings account.

They don't want to issue new ATM cards.

They want to push check deposit by APP.

What's next....no cheques for withdrawals???

I have no issues login to Accelerate, I do have special characters in my password. It's all Access Credit Union now.

Hi,

I am not currently using Accelerate, but would like to know if their recent upgrade made them comparable to other FI leaders (technology wise) like Tangerine. Can money be moved in/out easily ? Can you "Pull/Push" from Accelerate ?

Their website indicates: "We upgraded our digital banking experience to put the best available banking technology in your hands." ... "We launched our new digital banking experience on June 17th, 2021!"

Two other changes I have found:

You can no longer copy and paste a password.

They no longer identify your GIC as what happens at maturity. Roll over to new GIC or goes to Savings Account at maturity.

I kind of expect to see Implicity to go similar ways. I don't know if I will stay with either of them. At this point the better of the two So far the one to stay with is Implicity and I see Outlook taking control. But the new system may be a detraction as is the new Accelerate system.

No push/pull.

Cheques - free, but a service charge to use.
ATM card - but if you don't use it often enough you loose it and they won't re-issue my wife a new one. They provide a different number to access her account.
They are pushing to use a phone APP to do cheque deposits.

I do use a cheque deposit app but not for Accelerate. And I don't like the loosy goosy of the APP. Most improperly filled out cheques never get refused using an APP to deposit.

For me Hubert will eventually be my MAIN MB banking.

I have dropped Outlook and plan to drop either Accelerate or Implicity. I would prefer Implicity but they are joining with Outlook so will have to "wait and see".

Some one did a good job here BUT 'transfer' is not clear. Does that mean push/pull or interac Etransfer?

Since the merger with Accelerate and the upcoming merger with Implicity and Outlook I am hoping to narrow down to either Accelerate or Implicity.

Accelerate has always been good but no push pull.
But since merger
Can no longer copy and paste password into online banking

Are trying hard to eliminate ATM cards and they track use of them wanting to force the use of the APP for cheque deposits. But how do you get cash with out one? They reminded me of the charges for ATM withdrawals BUT if I need cash....I want it now and only with an ATM card. Also the cheque deposit app for elderly may not be appropriate. I am elderly but am up to date with technology.

Implicity will merge with Outlook
Implicity has push/pull, cheques and ATM cards
Has good service as does Accelerate.
BUT Outlook in my opinion are screw ups and that is why I left.

So between the both of them if I was not to do GIC's with either, I would go with Implicity only once I see how badly they are infected by Outlook being the larger CU.
