That "5yrs @ 3.20%" is on the top of this chart this morning ( http://www.globeinvestor.com/s.....ndicator=N )

I am not a customer à Accelerate currently. Is there anything special to know about them ? (ex: Fees, how easy it is to move money in/out, daily-weekly-monthly limits, etc.).

Alain,
I had accounts at Accelerate until last year, and found them to be very pleasant to deal with....however, when compared to other high profile CU's like Hubert or an online bank like Alterna or Wealth One, Accelerate lacks electronic fund transfer capability, unless changes have occurred recently.

Deposits had to be made by mail, or if I recall correctly via their network of affiliated ATM's.

It was too inconvenient when compared to other online alternatives like those I referred to.

Accelerate is the online version of Crosstown CU.

They don't have rate teasers to draw you in and then drop the rate. The rates are always consistently top of market so you don't have to keep watching. The online banking site has improved from the past so I can only assume they are working on improving the money moving/tech experience.

Apparently you are able to make deposits through their app by sending photos of the front and back of a cheque. They don't have the "me to me" transfer capabilty as yet. Don't know if they are planning to.
I have being dealing with them for about 6 years and have found them to be very efficient.

I've had Accelerate since they launched. I would never give them up as long the same 3 girls run it. They give the best customer service of any bank , in my opinion. I love their rate specials and they have known me by name since I opened my accounts.
