Why do you bank with them?: interest rates on Savings are generally good.
What do you like about this bank / credit union?: Nothing anymore. Customer Service is terrible, no one seems to know what they are doing. Call center staff are not knowledgeable with procedures and seem to give conflicting information.
What could be improved about this bank / credit union?: Customer Service and adequate staff training.
General comments: This credit union used to be about the members, but now I feel it's about the numbers. They have gotten so big that they lost sight of the Customer Service factor.

Why do you bank with them?: for interest rates, but now Banks can do better.
What do you like about this bank / credit union?: now, not much.
What could be improved about this bank / credit union?: all aspects of banking, 1st: competent staff
General comments: Awful on all counts. Stay away. Accounts transfers can take forever, + fees.

General comments: Some employees have the tendency to take and transfer money between accounts without customer consent. They don't inform the customer. Which is absolutely wrong.

How long have you banked with them?: I've had accounts with SCU for almost 1 year. I can't wait to move away from them as soon as my GIC matures
Why do you bank with them?: They seemed to have good rates and acceptable customer service when I signed up as a new customer. I've had nothing but problems ever since.
What do you like about this bank / credit union?: Nothing now. They just don't answer their phone or return emails.
What could be improved about this bank / credit union?: I have tried to reach someone in their Customer Service Dept for more that 10 days. I've called about 15 times, I've been on 'hold' for over 2 hours (combined). NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. Unfortunately they have lost our business as a result of this. We even tried to contact them using their 'contact form' on their website. No one ever replied. Sorry SCU you need to update your customer service contact center or you will continue to lose more customers.
General comments: SCU needs to up date their phone system. We held on the phone for assistance day after day after day. Their phone message says 'someone will be with you in a moment' - yet the calls are never answered. (1) They should indicate what the 'wait time' will be. (2) They should indicate where you are in their phone queue - OR- (3) they should let you leave your name and number to have your call returned when someone is free.

Why do you bank with them?: gramdpa was a charter board member
What do you like about this bank / credit union?: better int rates
What could be improved about this bank / credit union?: I bank at many larger inst. and never do I have to wait so long to get help on the phone. This is totally unacceptable.
General comments: Customer service has to improve.

Why do you bank with them?: I was told they had the best interest rate
What do you like about this bank / credit union?: nothing
What could be improved about this bank / credit union?: Employees could learn their jobs. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
General comments: Biggest waste of time trying to bank here compared to other institutions.

How long have you banked with them?: Can not bank with them as they wont return my calls
Why do you bank with them?: I dont. I call and get their telephone center which is useless and wont put me through to a branch
What do you like about this bank / credit union?: Nothing because i cant do business with them. They cant even manage their messages
What could be improved about this bank / credit union?: Provide proper customer service. I have been banking for 40 yrs never seen anything like this
General comments: Just plain bad business
