I received 7 of those in the mail, during the first half of July, and filed a claim for them all. It seems strange that you are getting one now as I thought all those letters would have been mailed out by now.

Got mine by email a couple of months ago. At first I thought it was a scam until I verified it was legit. The best part was I didn't need to give them any information. I just entered the codes and they showed me all the information and I just had to accept.

As others have stated, this came a couple of months ago. I could see scammers trying to capitalize on this. Make sure you're not asked to enter any personal information, it should show you your personal information instead.

It seems I may be one of the last ones to receive notice on this settlement. I guess that makes me an 'Afterthought'. sf-wink

I wonder what kind/amount of settlement we'll be receiving.

Time will tell, I guess . . .

When you enter each claim no. it shows you how much you will receive for each claim. Going back to your original post, you mention you got it in the mail. Paper mail? Because I got mine by email and filled my claim online. I'm wondering if that's why you got yours later.

It actually shows your eligible trailer fees that you incurred on the funds during the period in question in the class action. I think the grand total of all those amounts was something like $632 million. TD settled that for around $70 million, and after lawyer fees and whatnot, maybe about $50M or less of that available for payouts?

So if everyone claimed, you'd probably get less than 10 cents on the dollar of the amount you see. There will probably be a lot of claims that don't get filed for one reason or another, but people with the larger claims will preferentially be filers, so I'd imagine the payout would be luck to be 15 cents on the dollar?

My notice came by CP Snail Mail, so that would account for the delay I experienced.

What baffles me More, is that I Haven't delt with Mutual Funds for the past ~20+ years, so this Class Action Lawsuit must go ... Way Back❗
