So around the last time this insolvent organization fully (as opposed to "revolving") stopped working, the last piece of mail I received was an announcement that our community box cluster (a bit dated looking, but still worked) was going to be replaced with a new one.

Some time later and without further communication, the existing boxes were moved up the street and reinstalled in the ground. Several days later, those boxes were removed again and the new ones installed in the ground at this new location. The old boxes were nowhere to be found on our street or on nearby ones.

Still no info has been provided. There happened to be a postal "worker" at the new boxes, so I asked if the new boxes could now be used? "Sure if you have your new keys"... I've received nothing, how do I get them and know which box number I have? OH, you go down to the post office to get them....

Not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling about this, but I invest in using some gas to go there. I ask for my new keys? Your information and new keys will be in the old box. The old boxes were taken away and are nowhere to be found, where are they? ...... Dunno, I'll have to take your name and number and I'll call you!

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my memory's not as
sharp as it used to be.

Ontario.

Follow up, I did get a phone call! It was to tell me where the old boxes were, as I had requested.

The address description he gave happened to be where the new boxes are, so I went to have a look..... You know what comes next, the old boxes were not there! sf-yell

Maybe they were stolen? I certainly wouldn't pay minimum wage for this quality of service, but of course I'm FORCED to as my taxes are by now pretty much the only source of funds to pay their salaries.
