The 2020 TFSA contribution limit will once again be $6,000 (https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/tax-free-savings-account/contributions.html).

2020 is the 12th year of the TFSA. If you turned 18 or older in 2009, your total contribution limit (not counting any withdrawals you made, which adds to the following year's contribution limit) is $69,500.

• 2010: $5,000

• 2013: $5,500
• 2014: $5,500
• 2015: $10,000
• 2016: $5,500
• 2017: $5,500
• 2018: $5,500
