My offer is 2.85% until April 30 on balance above Nov 5 balance, which is consistent as they usually low-ball me because I usually take it. Likely not this time. Spouse has no offer so far.

My spouse was on a 5.1% promo to the end of January which expired, and no new promo offered by email or website. So she called them yesterday to move about $160K out to another bank, at which point they offered her 3.6% for 90 days to stay. She declined the offer and moved monies out instead. (it will be going to the targeted BMO offer at 5% till May 15)

They just offered me 3.75% to April 30th, after getting over 5% previously and removing my money at the end of the term.

Well, I guess I'm no longer on the "Nice List" at Tangerine.
Pulled most of my funds out over the Jan 31-Feb 2 weekend just in case. No offers have come in and I'm back to the stunning 0.3% for my "savings". I've checked "Insights" a few times in case I missed an email. Nada.

After over a year of receiving one Tang SA Special Offer after another, the Wife and I appear to have missed out on their latest offer. Oh well ... ya can't win 'em all. 
As a consolation prize, our SA money was moved over to Oaken in late Jan., where we're getting 3.0% interest. We can't complain about that.

So have the recent offers been on new money or existing funds?
Also, does moving it to chequing account suffice for the money not to be considered existing?
I had been ignored for a few quarters by Tang but they lured me back in December, so there is hope…hang tough

Well, here's the update:
I called back to question what I had been told by another agent previously
This time I am told exactly as you stated-- since I am secondary, the money in the joint account is not included
And the agent encouraged me to make the transfer!
I guess this shows : don't believe everything you hear!
A final update on this:
Checked the interest paid today, and they did indeed pay the promo rate for funds transferred into my personal account from the joint account.
So, a good day
