If I add a new savings account, will the promo rate apply to that as well?

Log into TNG.

Select any Savings Account.

Select Account Details to see the interest rate in effect for that account. If there is a promo rate in effect, the end date will be shown.

Note for Joint Accounts: The promo rates will only be visible to the primary account owner of that account.

For anyone else wondering about this. I chatted online and asked the question and was told that, yes, the rate would apply.

So I opened a "Single" account (the others are "Joint") and the promo rate was shown in the Account Details.

It seems like this would extend CDIC coverage since one account is joint and the other is single.
