I may have found one reason why many of us never seem to get the marketing promotion offers from Tangerine, at least from the email perspective.

While browsing the Tangerine site, under settings and profile, I did indeed find under Marketing Communications tab, email settings, that you can "receive updates" or "not receive updates" regarding offers and promotions.

In my case, it was set on "to not receive updates". I've changed it now.

Email Receive Updates
Offers and Promotions from Tangerine Bank
News and Events from Tangerine Bank
Account Information from Tangerine Bank
Investment Fund Communications from Tangerine Investment
Funds Limited (product information, offers, news)

Maybe now I'll start getting the promotional offers.
If I can get the 3% offer HISA from Tangerine, I probably won't transfer out to Meridian, (set up account at Meridian today).
