It took a while but I finally received a decent HI rate from Tangerine and I'll take it, thank-you.

FWIW ...been with Tangerine for various accounts since it was ING. I have had no security issues with the website access but did have an issue with my MasterCard which somehow got compromised but Tangerine handled it quickly without cost to me.  

I also got an early ING MC. Within 1 week it was compromised in the UK. I hadn't been or shopped there in at least 2 years. I hadn't even used the ING MC yet. ING issued a new card. 2 weeks later, it was also compromised; same UK merchant and also before I ever used the card. ING fixed this again but I just cancelled that MC.

I got a TNG MC 3 years ago. I use it regularly. No issues yet ...
