OfflineAfter being left high and dry since an extension expired at the end of March last year, I open the app to see 4.20% until March 31st. On another site, someone indicated they received an offer for 3.50%, another 3.9%. Might be worthwhile for those with accounts to login to see if they were bestowed a gracious offer.

OfflineThanks for posting, Johnny
After getting regular offers for a couple of years, I had nothing since May, and had pretty much given up on Tang for new promos, given their shift to graduated rates
However, to my pleasant surprise, I just logged in after reading your note, and I also have the 4.2% offer until March 31
While I actually have better deals going on CAD, right now, with Manulife and Meridian, this is a welcome home for USD-- a fully % point higher than I am currently getting on my TDB8152

If not confidential, what are you getting at Manulife and Meridian. Also, are you concerned about risk since neither is a Big 5 bank.

OnlineNo special rate for me.
I am currently on their graduated rates (not that I asked for it!). Are those of us on graduated rates ever going to get another promo offer? And if an offer does come in, does the existing balance get the graduated rate as before the offer, and only new funds get the promo rate? Complex indeed.
If anyone has been on the graduated rates, and has been given a promo recently, please let us know how that turned out.

Got the 4.2% promo offer after a long dry spell since the summer. I'll take it. I don't have manulife or meridian accounts. My simplii offer ends this month and was pretty lacklustre
"Got the 4.2% promo offer after a long dry spell since the summer. I'll take it."
I also had a long dry spell until this offer. I accepted it only to show that I'm still here.
Does accepting this offer mean no more offers until the next century?
ATM question: Is it possible to deposit directly to my Tang Savings account at the ATM? Or, does one have to deposit to the chequing account first and then transfer the funds to Savings,

I'm on my second 9 month 'tier' rewards plan. Basically you have to have a balance of over $100k to get 2.25 %.
My tiered plan is 2.0% for a balance over $100K, for the period of 1 year starting 1.1.2026.
It is combined balance, meaning RRSP + TFSA + Savings, which could let client have $100K+ balance without exceeding CDIC coverage.
2.0% on Savings is not attractive proposition right now, but if BoC keeps reducing rates regardless of true inflation, trying to jolt economy, by end of 2026 having 2.0% on Savings could be an offer hard to refuse.

Chequing first, unless things have changed. If it's cash, I don't think it would be an issue. A cheque on the other hand, likely a hold, better to use the app and do an e-Deposit.
