Can some one tell me the trick? I have an iPad Air 1. Every time I do a reply using the Quote button nothing happens and then I select it again and it works BUT I get the entry quoted two times!!

After tapping the Quote button are you scrolling down to see if a reply has opened up before tapping Quote a second time? The screen doesn't "jump" up on the initial tap of the Quote button, like it does after the second tap.
