While I often read the blogs such as the recent prepaid cards for foreign purchases, on the bottom of the blog it says "write your comments in the forum". The word forum is hyperlinked to the general forum.

What I feel should happen is the hyperlink directs readers to the thread discussing this topic. Right now, the readers have to search for the thread, assuming it in fact exists.
