I know how to copy and paste a URL in my reply.

How do you paste pictures in reply?  

Click on the 'Add Reply' button, and then click on the 'img' button, and take it from there.

Using that ⬆ method, try posting a picture here on this thread.

Not having too much luck.

Could you give me a valid URL as an example.  

Sometimes that ⬆ happens ... you have no choice but to enter a URL from different image.

For an example, I know this one works ➡ https://i.postimg.cc/mggYkYjV/carpe-diem1.jpg

Note:
The image will Not show up when you click on the 'Preview' button. The image will only show up when you click on the 'Submit Reply' button.
