I've held off opening account at Simplii until I was desperate enough and they had a good enough offer. Not there yet.

I was of the same mindset. I felt that I had run out of 'new acct promos' and opened one at Simplii for 2.2% only to have Tang meet and beat them. To their credit, they did raise their rate to 2.8%, but I had already moved on to Hubert for 1-yr quarterly at 3.05%
