I downloaded my October 2017 account statements. They have been rebranded with the Simplii Financial logo.

This appears at the bottom of the page:

“SIMPLII FINANCIAL” and the SIMPLII FINANCIAL DESIGNS are trademarks of CIBC.
“Simplii Financial” is a division of CIBC. Banking services are not available in Quebec.

Aww, they no longer refer to it as the "direct banking division of CIBC," simply as "a division of CIBC". *sniff" 🙁

Their FAQ refers to it as the Simplii Financial division. Staff in the division may like that more than being the direct banking division: sf-laugh
