OfflineSeems Scotiabank sent out the wrong email to customers this morning causing hour-long wait times at call centres and long lineups at branches when the bank opened today:
“Hi ****
Account *****01**** is in overdraft. For more information, sign in to Scotia OnLine or the Scotiabank mobile banking app.”
A message later appeared saying the bank was aware of the glitch and was working to fix it.
