Omnia Direct's new much lower GIC rates:

1 yr 2.65%
2 yrs 2.75
3 yrs 2.85
4 yrs 2.95
5 yrs 3.05

It is true for 1 or 2 yrs, comparing to what I saw on March 23.
There is no change on 3 or 4 years.
5 years, however, goes up 0.05% - not much of a consolation

No change to 1 yr USD as well.

Omnia’s website is still showing 3.25% for 2 years as at 7 pm est today.

Well not anymore as of 10pm today. https://omniadirect.ca/2-year-gic

Tangerine, EQ, DUCA, Meridian, and Hubert have all lowered their GIC rates this past month.

1 yr 2.25%
2 yrs 2.35%
3 yrs 2.40%
4 yrs 2.45%
5 yrs 2.45%
