Peter et al. seems not to have seen my post on the Oaken Financial Savings account and short-term GIC rate drop (1 year or less) effective March 18, 2020.

Anyway, Oaken Savings account is going to 2.00% on that date and the short-term GIC rates are going to between 2-2.20%.
