Oaken GIC rate decrease Dec 1/2016 | Oaken Financial | Discussion forum

Per an email they sent out, Oaken will be reducing their GIC rates on Thursday, Dec 1. Almost all the rates will drop by 25 basis points (0.25%), with a couple of short-term rates reducing by a bit less.

The Globe & Mail has a GIC rate chart. This will leave Peoples at the tip-top of rates, unless they choose to do the same thing.
