What happens to PAD setup on your old Motive account numbers? will they get re-routed correctly? And for how long? thanks!

Page 26 of the booklet states that DDs and PADs will be redirected for a maximum of 12 months. I would suggest to update to the new account number at your earliest convenience to lessen the possibilities for them to goof it up.

Under Payments Canada Rule D4, section 4, amalgamating members are usually allowed to use multiple Institution Numbers for a year. After that, the continuing member will need to pick one Institution Number.

I suspect National Bank will keep Institution 006 and retire Canadian Western Bank's Institution 030.
