Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with Peoples Trust?
I did me-to-me transfers from external linked accounts 3 days ago and the funds still do not show at Peoples HISA. (and this is not from snail-paced Meridian or Motus).
I note that Peoples does not have digital deposits by app for cheques either.
Think I may not continue to deal with them.

Each FI has its quirks. I have done transfers in and don't recall a real slow movement of money. You will have to call them to remove the hold though, if you plan to buy a GIC. I think they are good but you have to watch their rates.

I initiated the transfer from Tangerine on past Sunday, and it was shown on PT on Wed (2 biz day), and I called PT and they transferred to GIC immediately. Very responsive and the call took only 2 minutes.

Keep in mind 2 things.

If you want interest paid annually. You have to call back.

If you want joint. You have to call back and you and spouse have to request a joint GIC.
