Canadian Western Bank is offering five-year GIC's at 5.0% through its Canadian Western Bank branches.

But, through its Motive Financial online-only channel, the five-year GIC's are 4.88%.

Alas, as Motive is just a trade name for CWB, it shares the same 100K CDIC coverage limit.

Their subsidiary Canadian Western Trust Company is a separate CDIC member. CANNEX shows Canadian Western Trust also offering 5 year GIC's for 5.0%.

I don't know if the Canadian Western Bank branches also offer GIC's issued by their trust company subsidiary.
