HermanH: Caller ID numbers are easily spoofed. I sometimes get calls from people finding my number in their caller ID log DESPITE my number being unlisted and undisplayed.

Better to check through a trusted number, on printed matter from the supposed caller.

Yes, that is what I did. I found the number listed publicly online as well as from an old statement mailed to me. I called the number I found independently and not the one that appeared on Call Display. However, in this case, they were one in the same. sf-smile
