I made a payment to my ScotiaBank Visa Card from my LBC Digital checking account.
However, the payment is listed under account activity for the ScotiaBank Visa Card as having been processed/ paid via "NAT'L BK OF CAN CA".

Anyone have info as to whether LBC Digital is being bought by National Bank of Canada?

I think NBC is the payment processor for the Laurentian Bank credit cards?

Laurentian Bank shopped itself around last summer and there were no bidders.

Highly unlikely any other financial institution would buy just their LBC Digital online-only division. The LBC Digital online banking system is buggy and unstable.

No payor or payee info on preauthorized debit and direct deposit transactions. Formatting issues with statements, like missing thousands separators in some columns. Looks like the system was put together by computer science interns, without any adult supervision!
