Just got a promotion email.

TFSA savings: 1.8%
RSP savings: 1.4%
TFSA or RSP GIC:
1 year: 1.65%
2 years or 3 years: 2.4%
4 years: 2.65 %
5 years: 3.15%

Judge to the situations of EU and US. We might have a low interest for quite a while. Right now, the other best GIC rate is 2.85% for 5 years by outlook and accelerate.

I guess I'll lock at 2.40% for 2 years and see if rates ever go up. My 2.50% 90 days RSP at ING is coming to an end on the 7th of April. Gotta move it somewhere else than they RSP savings account at peanuts rates.
