Of course ... they should have done all their technical checking, Long before they made their MFA announcement back on Oct. 1st.

The term; "HickBilly" comes to mind ... Imagine leaving this, till the night before❗

It's no wonder they can't come up with a new stand-alone website for Hubert. sf-confused

In my working years and my site system involvement, our IT ran tests on a back up system with live copied data first. Then rolled out changes to one site at a time (which couldn’t happen in this case) and once live was very heavily monitored by our IT and the users.

Yup, I agree “Hokey Pokey” Access slides something new in the night of! Something for us and a change to pull Hubert closer to Access vs improving Hubert to be more stand alone.

Online or mobile banking? Seriously?

Only Interac E-Transfer available via self-serve, everything else via Hubert CSR phone banking from the last century.

I was told multiple times by Hubert CSR's, that Access has no plans to restore Hubert online banking.
How many years are we waiting now?
Isn't it October again?
Merge happened in October many years ago, if I remember correctly.
Happy Hubert online/mobile banking with MFA. What a joke.

The main website (the login site isn't accessible) is showing:

MFA release unsuccessful
Effective October 8, 2025, both Android and iOS apps have been upgraded to 19.3.0, however, without the multi-factor authentication feature due to technical issues.
In addition, desktop online banking via browser is not working as expected. Mobile apps continue to work as expected. Our vendor is actively working to restore service. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Their IT (both feature design and release testing) has certainly sucked since Access came along. Oddly enough, their Hubert-specific customer service has remained excellent, within the limitiations of what Hubert can actually do. I probably wouldn't be there now, as the savings account can be beat by EQ and Wealthsimple for me, but I've still got a legacy GIC or two in the system, and the 1-year quarterly is still a fairly unique parking opportunity I may actually take advantage of again this fall.
