OfflineIs it anonymous or not.
Are my survey responses anonymous and secure?
Anonymity
Survey creators can decide to collect responses anonymously or to track respondents.
Personal information can be collected by a survey creator in two ways: (1) by expressly asking you for your personal details in the survey and (2) by configuring the survey collector options to automatically collect certain information.
We provide several survey distribution methods called collectors. Every collector type has different settings or collector options that affect the survey-taking experience and what respondent information is recorded.
All collectors allow the survey creator to turn Anonymous Responses on or off.
All collectors allow the survey creator to track IP addresses or not.
Email Invitation collectors allow the survey creator to track email invitations.
Some integrations create collectors automatically in SurveyMonkey. An integration's anonymity settings determine whether SurveyMonkey collectors record identifying information about the survey taker. For example, Microsoft Teams records the First and Last name of survey takers, unless Keep responses anonymous was selected.
Remember to consider in each case where you use anonymous settings, and whether the questions you are asking could identify a person in any case. For example, this may happen if you are only surveying a small pool of people and the questions collect demographic data (e.g., male/female, age range, etc.) that could imply identity. In such cases, you may want to describe your survey as “confidential”, “pseudonymous” or “partially de-identified” instead.
Privacy
Survey creators may have their own privacy policies which apply to surveys that they create using our services and that detail how they handle your personally identifiable information or personal data.
We encourage you to read any such policy, or to contact the survey creator directly to ask them any questions about their privacy practices.
If the survey creator has not disclosed the collection method in the introduction of the survey, please contact them to verify if the response is anonymous.
Review our Privacy Notice and how we handle respondents’ personal information.
Security
SurveyMonkey takes our users’ security and privacy concerns seriously. We strive to ensure that user data is kept secure, and that we collect only as much personal data as is required to make our users’ experience with SurveyMonkey as efficient and satisfying as possible. We also aim to collect data in the most unobtrusive manner possible. We aim to be transparent about our security infrastructure and practices to help reassure you that your data is sufficiently protected. SurveyMonkey is also ISO27001 certified. For more details, see our Security Statement.
Surveys begin with https:// which means your survey responses are sent over a secure, encrypted connection.

Like many here, I have some Major Concerns with the present state at Hubert, so I plan to take their survey ... 'With Eyes Wide Open'.
As an Access CU member in good standing, I also plan to send a formal letter to the Access BoD, outlining (in detail) my concerns with Hubert.
"A waste of time", you might say ... here's hoping Not.

OfflineHmmmm but I felt compelled to enlighten THE NEW HUBERT on how I feel. And no doubt they will continue their course. Or are they looking for support to keep going or to dissolve?
I have another bank that sends me a survey after I call them. I delete the request and they keep reminding me. I keep deleting.
I must stop offering feedback that can be linked to me.
Edit. Oddly, I cannot find the opportunity to do a Google review for either Hubert or Access.

OfflineThe rates at Hubert seem to be making a bit of a comeback lately.
Could it be to declining numbers?
Unfortunate but I closed my access accounts, too much bother with all the manual stuff.
Deleted the survey, figured it was a lost cause and a waste of my time. Anytime these buyouts happen the service declines and becomes useless.

OfflineI'm still with Access and Hubert. I find if I phone Hubert during a busy time there is an option for a call back. So I still find the service acceptable. Due to the archaic functionality of the website I probably wouldn't start out with them if I wasn't already a customer. Also, people have had issues with improper tax slips, which is concerning, so I don't refer acquaintances to Access/Hubert

Call back option is “kind of” better but still not that good. My reasoning is … I am prepared with ID information, the subject, and the documents to refer to, at my desk at time of placing call. Then the call back is while … I’m in the yard…I’m in the shower, basically not in the “ready position” as I was when I first called. etc. etc. And say you call at 9am and the call back is a 2pm and you’re not at home. I’m the customer, I’m the investor etc.
I was going to totally depart but might stay for non registered quarterlies.
I have a 7 year plan to withdraw all RRIFs while staying in lowest tax rate so the other thing I toil with, is that they are darn convenient to take extra RRIF withdrawals. And Oaken doesn’t.
But like already said the T slip thing was handled as though it was “my problem” and at a “huge cost to me of time and $” and we don’t care. And absolutely, I will not recommend them.

Meaning you do not have much in RRIF...
What is not much?
Let’s put it this way……I wasn’t into them and really didn’t understand them…I just did them blindly, and also all of my wife’s were spousal. A lot of my golden handshake went to RRSP too.
I have some in Hubert and some elsewhere. Have been withdrawing for years even at the RRSP level and have never had any need for them.
I will figure out this week, how much is in Hubert for mandatory plus the extra and when I will be empty. And if the other FI still doesn’t have RRIF HISA I will have to decide to move some out that can be in HISA. If Hubert does any more screw ups…..I will be shopping for a new FI.
If I knew what I know back then….in would have done differently and more so if there were TFSAs in the late 60s.

LOL ⬆️Those welcomed enhancements were Long-On-The-Boil, before that recent survey was sent out.
But on the Downside ... they add to the suspicion that we may Never see a stand-alone Hubert website again.

Good point. The improvement is more like Hubert integrating towards Access.

None of these upgrades do anything for me.
What would be most welcome is the restoration of all the self-serve functionalities that existed pre-merger!
100% with you. What customers need is:
- Internet banking - move money from/to Hubert without agent's assistance
- Open/close GIC (and other products) through Internet banking (see above).

My Access/Hubert footprint has been declining since the merger as GIC's mature; currently at about 30%.

Hmmm ...
Or perhaps our dislike of having to call-in, is sending us in the Wrong Direction.

I do not see decent alternative... I am tired of jumping and opening accounts left and right just to chase interest.
Current transfer funds is a little bit a PITA; I initiated transfer on Thu at around 9:30 EDT. Money have been taken from account on Fri at around 13:00 EDT. This timing made me extremely nervous; had to chat with the agent and scripted answer was 'transfer will complete within 2 to 5 business days'. Trying to get processing timing - same scripted answer...
Good old Hubert had a specific timing for funds to go out or in so you could plan when to deposit or withdraw. Current process is blahhhh. Let see when will I get my $.
Wealthsimple is a prime example HOW internet banking should be done; but their rate is low...
