Hubert no-fee transfers

I am thinking about opening a savings account with Hubert but I'm worried that RBC will charge me for online transfers.

I've never had to transfer to another bank from RBC before, but so far I gather that they charge $1.00 per "interac e-transfer". Does anyone know if Hubert's transfer-in service would avoid this fee? or another way to avoid it? I've thought about just sending checks but the cost of the checks, postage, and inconvenience adds up to pretty much the same.

If switching banks is the only way out of this, what other banks have no transfer fees?

Thanks!
Dyno

I think you are talking about RBC's Interac e-Transfer, which is a sort of "email money to a friend" type of thing. This is not the same as an electronic funds transfer (EFT) between institutions of the sort that the online banks enable.

I've both pushed to and pulled from my TD chequing account using Hubert without fee.

It will count as a transaction on your rbc account though.. So be wary how many you have etc..

EDIT: Looks like all Hubert transfers (registered included) are free (on Hubert's end its free):) ..
