I emailed them about when they will have account nicknames. Apparently they are working on a mobile app where you can nickname accounts that will be available soon. They are also working on updating the internet version but no timeline for that.

Edit I just saw that there is a mobile app thread rating from last year. I've asked them to confirm the time of release and will let you know if they respond.
