Since this thread is for a separate, topical discussion on Hubert Financial's GIC rates, I thought the savings account discussion belongs in its own thread. sf-cool

Hubert Financial, a division of Sunova Credit Union, also increased its Happy Savings Account (across all non-registered and registered accounts) from 1.85% to 2% effective today becoming, possibly, the first Manitoba-based CU to do so. sf-cool

I wonder when the competition will follow, savers are losing out big with the recent BOC interest rate hikes.sf-cool

Everyone should send emails to their banks asking for increases if they are not like Hubert. 🙂
