Now, 3½% average for the year. The 3.2% is quite good if one just needs the first three months:

  • The first three months: 3.20%
  • Months four to six: 3.40%
  • Months seven to nine: 3.60%
  • The last three months: 3.80%

Thanks. I plan on doing a large revamp and I can see some value to buying a quarterly and dissolving it on a 3 month anniversary.

Like others here, I bailed on Hubert, when Access took over and we lost a lot of flexibility and features. Has anything changed for the better ?

Once my current 4.80% HISA expires at Meridian next month, I will be looking at other options to park non-registered Cash. Is Hubert to be considered once again ?

Nope ... other than the odd interest rate change, Hubert remains the Hobbled FI it was/is since Access CU took over. sf-confused

Nothing much has changed. If one can get over having to call during their business hours (and almost never wait, in my recent experience), where else can you get a fixed 3.5% for one year (referring to 'the quarterly') and full, immediate access to funds for parked non-regestered cash (granted with a interest penalty)?

Not much good for anything else that I can see at this point though.

thanks for your feed back Dean and F.J
Well I might just consider moving a bit over to the quarterly option, 3.5% ave, which is all I really did with Hubert previously. Despite the constraints, it's still liquid enough for my comfort zone. Not going 'all in' though, that's for sure.
