Can we start a listing for USD GICs to be purchased here in Canada? I had a great rate at RBC last year 3% but it is maturing soon. Thank you!

I had a similar deal with RBC in October. My best option at the time was to stick with RBC and rollover for 1 year at 2.1%

I also have the same 3% rate for one year. I noticed Tangerine have a 1.5% rate for 6 months?
is the 2.1 rate at rbc still active . last time i checked it was 1.9%?
have you guys heard if any other banks offer higher rates? i know for a fact that the RBC rate (3%) was not advertised on thier website and I had to speak with a financial adviser to get this rate! he called it an " in bank rate" ?
I wonder if this applies to any other banks??
