I have no problems with active anti-scam warnings.

The key is to tell people to call their lines without using any contacts provided by the approach.

And, yes, any unsolicited approach is certain to be a scam. I have set up reverse-verification questions so my financial institutions can confirm they're real. I just tell their agents to put a notice in my file and point to it if I am called.

And of course, I never allow contact by E-mail. Since I never enable online banking, I know everything coming in that way is fake.

Question: Whatever happened to those phone calls from gentlemen who speak English with a foreign accent? You know the ones.

I still get them every second day, but now a recording precedes them. Press "1" and there's the familiar South Asian voice.
