1.70% at Oaken

Oaken's rate has not decreased. The rate you quote is for monthly payout. The 5yr rate for annual payout remains 1.80%.

Looks like if you go onto Motive right now, and Open Account, you can still get the higher rates.

Interesting point, Kelbee.
Motive does change its GIC rates very frequently. I stopped trying to keep track of them some time ago as they were changing them weekly, but I'm not sure if they still do that.
