Parama Home Page promo 2.85% one year GIC; 3% 18 months.

Their GIC's are periodically available through brokers, as they require new clients to apply in person; not practical for those who come from away.

Not necessarily always true. They can choose to make an exception and handle the account opening by mailing you the necessary forms to complete and return. Try contacting the Manager, Operations as shown on their website staff page.

Thanks for that update, GR! When I called last year during one of their attractive offers, no alternative to personal visit was offered by the individual I spoke to.
