You would almost think the bank rate is going up Jan 9th ,seems like everyone is raising their rates except EQ bank. 3/4 % between Canada and U.S is too much , pretty soon Trump will be tweeting we're manipulating the dollar

My feeling is the rate will stay the same Jan. 9. Too much turmoil with oil prices, trade agreement uncertainty, etc., to raise rates now. Some experts actually think there might be a rate drop, but I doubt it. I think the BoC is in a wait and see mode.
