Is there any bank or credit union that will pay out interest yearly from a TFSA GIC into a TFSA savings account? I have a GIC coming due from EQ Bank and they do not do it.

Thanks

Are you sure about that? I had EQ Bank 1yr TFSA GIC mature recently, both principal and annual interest went to TFSA Savings.
I bought another 1yr TFSA GIC and this is what it says under GIC Investment info page: "interest earned will be deposited to your TFSA Savings Account."

That's one year. I bought a 2 year and they wouldn't pay out until 2 years. I want to buy a 5 year paying out yearly.

I'm pretty sure Oaken has an annual payment option for TFSA GICs. I've never done it, but on their page with Registered GIC rates there is the statement "Annual interest is available for TFSA plans only".
