Ganaraska Financial Credit Union Fixed Term Deposit rates 3.10% 2 Years | GIC discussions | Discussion forum

This Credit Union has always been well known for their high interest term deposits and so this one is no surprise! Upon browsing their website it appears they are offering 3.10% for two years ( fixed ) and a 1 year at 2.75% ( also fixed ). The nice thing about this credit union, I found, was how easy it was to get a hold of someone, it was truly no hassle! They have 3 branches in Port Hope, Cobourg and Peterborough in Ontario.

I'm interested to see how long this rate is going to last for, I've got an appointment tomorrow with one of their reps to invest at the two year fixed rate, I'm going in with approx. 76k. All in all I am very impressed so far!
