Since GIC rates through brokers can vary on almost a daily basis, it might be worthwhile to maintain a thread in which Forum members could post rates they glean from brokers as they become aware of them.

For example, today my broker is offering a one year term from
First Ontario CU at 2.33 % and according to Fiscal Agents
Meridian is offering 2.32% on a one year term through agent.

Re Meridian rate: That’s really interesting, as their online rate is 1.25% for 1 year. They are, however, offering a 1% bonus on transferred-in TFSAs.
