“Wise” Debit card | General financial discussion | Discussion forum

I will be doing some travelling in Europe later this year and am looking for the best way to pay along the way with the best exchange rates and lowest fees. Wise appears to have no transaction fees and an exchange rate as low as .4% versus ~ 2.5% for credit cards. There is a limit for free ATM withdrawals per month, but I do not think there is any limit on debit transactions.
Has been around in other countries for a few years and became available in Canada November 2021.
Does anyone have experience with the Wise debit card? Does it connect to existing accounts at any financial institution?
