Oaken (in trust) Gics | General financial discussion | Discussion forum

I assume many members have purchased Oaken in trust Gics for the purpose of insurance. I have used my spouse as the person in trust.
Will these types of gics fall under the scrutiny of the new trust tax rules? If anyone has info about that Id appreciate it .
